چکیده
Within the transport model evaluation project (TMEP) of simulations for heavy-ion collisions, mean-field response is examined here. Specifically, zero-sound propagation considered neutron-proton symmetric matter enclosed in a periodic box, at zero temperature and around normal density. The results several codes belonging to two families (BUU-like QMD-like) are compared among each other exact calculations. For BUU-like codes, employing test particle method, depend on combination number particles spread profile functions that weight integration over space. These parameters can be properly adapted give good reproduction analytical features. QMD-like using molecular dynamics methods, characterized by large damping effects, attributable fluctuations inherent their phase-space representation. Moreover, given nuclear effective interaction, they generally lead slower density oscillations, as codes. latter problem mitigated more recent lattice formulation some QMD significance these description real collisions discussed.9 MoreReceived 31 March 2021Accepted 16 July 2021DOI:https://doi.org/10.1103/PhysRevC.104.024603©2021 American Physical SocietyPhysics Subject Headings (PhySH)Research AreasLow & intermediate energy reactionsModels methods reactionsNuclear Physics

Beam dynamics simulations of post low energy beam transport section in RAON heavy ion accelerator.
RAON (Rare isotope Accelerator Of Newness) heavy ion accelerator of the rare isotope science project in Daejeon, Korea, has been designed to accelerate multiple-charge-state beams to be used for various science programs. In the RAON accelerator, the rare isotope beams which are generated by an isotope separation on-line system with a wide range of nuclei and charges will be transported through ...
متن کاملIon Move Brownian Dynamics (IMBD)--simulations of ion transport.
PURPOSE Comparison of the computed characteristics and physiological measurement of ion transport through transmembrane proteins could be a useful method to assess the quality of protein structures. Simulations of ion transport should be detailed but also timeefficient. METHODS The most accurate method could be Molecular Dynamics (MD), which is very time-consuming, hence is not used for this ...
متن کاملMean field effects in heavy-ion collisions at AGS energies
The question whether mean field effects exist in heavy-ion collisions at AGS energies is studied in the framework of A Relativistic Transport (ART) model. It is found that in central collisions of Au+Au at Pbeam/A =11.6 GeV/c a simple, Skyrme-type nuclear mean field satisfying the causality requirement reduces the maximum baryon and energy densities reached in the cascade model by about 30% and...
متن کاملTime-dependent Dirac equation with relativistic mean-field dynamics applied to heavy-ion scattering.
We treat the relativistic propagation of nucleons coupled to scalarand vector-meson fields in a mean-field approximation. The time-dependent Dirac and mean-meson-field equations are solved numerically in three dimensions. Collisions of 1668(300, 600, and 1200 MeVInucleon) + 1 6 0 are studied for various impact Parameters. The results are compared to other recent theoretical approaches. The calc...

Advection-dispersion equation is solved in numerically by using combinations of differential quadrature method (DQM) and various time integration techniques covering some explicit or implicit single and multi step methods. Two different initial boundary value problems modeling conservative and nonconservative transports of some substance represented by initial data are chosen as test problems. ...
